01. The low end: 4 tips
02. Practicing the low end
03. Learning the first blues: Shuffle Game
For beginning students, the low notes can be the most challenging. Calm down, your harmonica is not defective! You will really learn how to access notes from the first holes. It's time to practice your first Blues on the harmonica! So far, the songs and exercises that you learned, were played in the middle region of the harmonica, where it has the numbers 4 5 and 6. But today's blues, brings us a new region to be explored, the region of low notes or the low end, where the numbering is 1, 2 and 3 on the harmonica. This region requires special attention at the beginning, as it is much more difficult to produce the notes clean, tuned and naturally. So at the beginning, when you try to play holes 1 2 and 3, it is very likely that the sound will come out stuck and out of tune and you might think you have a problem with your harmonica. But by practicing today’s exercises well, it’ll end up being easy!
