Graduated at the School of Music and Fine Arts of Paraná, musician and composer Indiara Sfair has been working in several projects in the Blues and Jazz scene around the world.
Indiara participated in various forums, fairs, conferences and festivals such as the 6th Seoul International Harmonica Festival in South Korea, Sherblues and Folk Festival in Canada, the first Harmonica Expo in Brazil, the International Ilha Blues Fastival in São Paulo, and the Blues Festival from Chicago at Rosa’s Lounge Tent in the USA.
In 2019, Indiara gave a 15-hour workshop at the Hohner Harmonica Masters in Trossingen, Germany. In the same year she performed at the Royal Festival Hall with the renewed producer Nile Rogers and Dave Stewart from Eurythmics.
She’s also performed with great names such as Jeff Beck, Buddy Guy, Dave Stewart, Nile Rogers, Lurrie Bell, Sugar Blue and Billie Branch.
Indiara is currently on her third international tour as part of Dave Stewart's band. He has also been part of the band Milk’n Blues since 2011, which turned in 2024.
Sponsored by Hohner, considered the best harmonica brand in the world, Indiara launched her harmonica method in November 2020 and will release her first solo album in 2025.
The course was recorded twice, once in Portuguese and once in English.
That way we were able to bring the teaching of the harmonica to more people around the world.
I started the course in December after trying to learn by myself with books and had no fun with it. I am now at Lesson 10 and it's so fun to learn with them! I learned more about the harmonica and emotions than every book can teach you! I love the Harmoniclass and it's just perfect to really learn the blues. Fun fact: Tiago plays the guitar so nicely.
